Planting season has arrived! Our farmers are hard at work, and the weather has been ideal. Please be patient and pull over when safe to allow farm equipment to pass, as the larger and more productive machinery requires more space. Did you know that tractor tires can cost over $8000? Additionally, farmers often encounter obstacles such as old fence posts and tree stumps that can damage tires when they must exit into road side ditches. Furthermore, tractors consume significantly more fuel than passenger vehicles to reach optimal speed. Let's show our appreciation for our farmers who work tirelessly to feed the world! Thank a farmer today and ask how best to pass on your Madison County, Indiana roads.
