Due to inclement weather, all Chesterfield County schools will dismiss at 11:30 am on Tuesday, January 21. This will ensure that all students, faculty, and staff can arrive home safely ahead of the forecasted winter weather. Also, all evening activities are canceled for Tuesday as well.

UPDATE

The vehicle in this photo has been recovered and the suspect has been arrested. Adam Ray Black of Ruby SC has been arrested for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and Driving Under Suspension. This is an ongoing investigation.

(all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law)

At approximately 3:52 AM on December 14, 2024, this green 1996 Chevrolet S-10 with South Carolina license tag 3699QQ was stolen from P*e Dee Supply located at 1233 West Blvd., Chesterfield, SC. At the time of the theft this truck had magnetic decals on both doors with the name P*e Dee supply. The Chesterfield Police Department needs your help in identifying this individual. In the early hours of November 10, 2024 this individual is seen on video surveillance and suspected of breaking into a motor vehicle. If you have any information regarding this individual, please contact the Chesterfield Police Department at 843-623-2419. Please do not leave your property in locked or unlocked vehicles, as your guns, wallets and phones will fall into the hands of criminals.
