📬 Heads up, Chesterfield County! Juror Qualification Questionnaires were mailed August 27, 2026, to 30,000 randomly selected residents. If one arrives in your mailbox, you are legally required to complete it as instructed.

⚠️ This is not a summons for jury service.

🚫 Not a Chesterfield resident? Fill out the form and include your current address so we can disqualify you from service here.

ℹ️ Most disqualifications are listed directly on the questionnaire. Additional reasons (childcare, temporary medical needs, business conflicts) may be available only if you receive an Official Summons in 2027—please hold those requests until then.

🔔 Property Notification System Update
We upgraded the Property Notification System overnight on August 31 to make monitoring your property even easier. You can now track properties using tax map numbers in addition to name(s), and you’ll notice clearer instructions throughout the site to help with registration.

Our office cannot provide parcel IDs, but you can find them on:
• your real estate tax bill
• the Chesterfield County Real Estate Assessment Data website

We also identified some accounts that were created without completing the final step of adding names to monitor. Beginning September 1, we’ll update those accounts and notify affected users to ensure alerts are delivered.

🚨SCAM ALERT: Jury Duty Phone Scam Targeting Chesterfield Residents

The Chesterfield Circuit Court Clerk’s Office has received recent reports of an individual calling residents claiming they missed jury duty and demanding they pay a $14,000 fine.

This is false. 🚫🙅🏽‍♀️

The Chesterfield Circuit Court Clerk's Office will never call, text, or email you demanding payment for missing jury duty. Missing jury duty does not result in fines collected over the phone or email.

If you receive any communication like this, please do not pay and verify your juror status by contacting our office at [email protected]
