Come see how Organic Roots Farm is transitioning their 22 acre paradise for regenerative organic production!

We will learn about the planning, design, installation and marketing of Organic Roots Farm produce and their model for production and farming success!

Enjoy the orchard designed as an agritourism attraction to create a natural green space for relaxation, education and conversation.

Lunch will be provided. We’ll be making flatbread on-farm using fruits and other products straight from Organic Roots Farm.

Chesterfield, VA Extension Master Gardeners partnered with VSU College of Agriculture to harvest seeds for the 2027 Seed Share. Thank you to Dr. Mersha and his research assistant Nasya Bugg. Their research focuses on determining pollinator preferences. These plants are being removed to plant the next round of beautiful specimens. EMGs helped to get the job done with many hands making lighter work. Keep an eye out for open pollinated lemon queen, black oil, and perodovik sunflowers at our seed share March 13, 2027.
