Not on Kent Island, but most Kent Islanders frequented it back in the day.

The Center theater. Movie Showing "The Long Long Trailer" Starring Desi Arnez and Lucille Ball in 1953. The theatre was what most people knew as the Centreville Opera House. It burned down in 1968 as well as numerous buildings along Water Street. It was truly a gem in Centreville and stores would stay open until 11pm or later when the last show was over. The Building also housed the Centreville Goodwill Fire Co. in the early 1900's. "Moving Day" - The 250 year old Galloway Mansion is slowly barged down the beautiful Tred Avon River past Pecks Point near Easton, Maryland to its new home at Cheston on the Wye, near Queenstown, MD, while a flotilla of small craft follow. A TowBoat U.S. guides the barge from the front while the muscle power to move this 400 ton load is provided by the Northstar Integrity tug boat and Expert House Movers did all the heavy lifting.
