This issue has now been resolved. All telephone lines into the Chester Law Enforcement Center are working properly.

————————————————-//

All the administrative telephone lines into the Chester County Law Enforcement Center are experiencing problems at this time due to an issue with the service provider.

As of right now the 911 emergency telephone line is working properly for incoming calls, but any other telephone lines such as our Detention Center, Non-Emergency, and Administrative Telephone Lines are down.

We are actively working closely with the service provider to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. Further updates will be provided as the status of this issue changes.

On Monday, August 31, 2026, around 11:50PM, Chester County Sheriff’s Deputies assisted in a vehicle pursuit involving Keyache Davis.

The vehicle pursuit entered Chester County from Lancaster County on Highway 200. As the pursuit crossed the Thomas G. Mangum Bridge (Fishing Creek Bridge) on SC Highway #200, Sheriff’s Deputies deployed stop sticks, successfully deflating the tires of the vehicle. Despite the tires being deflated, Davis continued fleeing in his vehicle on Highway #200 before turning onto Frances Avenue in Great Falls.

After approximately one mile, Sheriff’s Deputies took steps to end the pursuit and the driver, Keyache Davis, was taken into custody.

During the search of the vehicle driven by Davis, Chester Sheriff’s Deputies seized the following:

-Approximately 22 grams of a substance believed to be Methamphetamine
-Approximately 3.5 grams of a substance believe to be Ma*****na

Chester County Sheriff’s Deputies have charged Davis with the following:

-Trafficking Methamphetamine (2nd Offense)
-Obstruction of Justice
-Failure to Stop for a Blue Light

This is an active and ongoing investigation that may result in more charges.
