Join us this Saturday, June 13, at the Kennard African American Cultural Heritage Center for the Juneteenth Festival & Parade! Don’t miss keynote speaker and performer Sista Big, taking the Main Stage at 12 Noon, as part of a powerful day of music, history, and inspiration.
While you're there, experience the opening of 250 Years of Black History in Queen Anne’s County, a new exhibit that chronicles the stories, struggles, achievements, and lasting impact of African Americans in our community from 1631 to today. Through stories of resilience, faith, education, leadership, and preservation, this exhibit shines a light on the people and places that helped shape Queen Anne’s County and Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
