Residents of West Mountain Road, Curran Road and Greylock Road please note: The Temporary Bridge will be moved on Tuesday September 22nd (Tentative Date), during that time the road will be CLOSED to thru traffic. Emergency services will be staged and the road to Lanesborough continues to be open. A call with go to all residents who are signed up for Code Red prior to the actual closure, if you are not currently signed up, please email [email protected] with your name, address, telephone numbers and email (not required) to sign up or call 413-743-1690 x. 100. CLOSURE notices will also be posted to the town website and social media.

Water users: Water will be shut off at approximately 10 a.m. TODAY, Monday August 31st for an emergency repair. Questions should be directed to 743-1690 x.105.

*** UPDATE ALERT *** Monday Aug. 17th, paving will continue on Fred Mason Road during the morning hours. Road will be closed again to through traffic at 7am until completed. Outlook Ave residents will be able to exit onto Fred Mason Road south to Rte 8 only. Once completed, paving will move to Church Street/ Main Street and some delays may take place Monday afternoon. Please watch for updates as weather may change plans. Thanks and please share.

*** ALERT ***Fred Mason Road will be closed this Friday starting at 7 am while the finish coat of blacktop is put down. Outlook Ave residents, exit to West Mtn Rd. West Road in Adams will be closed at Fisk St and traffic detoured. Please plan ahead and avoid this area. Please share as well. With our thanks.

Hutchinson Water Users: The Town is aware and monitoring a water main break in the system and is working with the Hutchinson Water Department to bring resolution as soon as possible. Updates will be provided as they are available.

West Mountain Bridge Update: West Mountain Road will be CLOSED on Tuesday July 28, 2026 beginning at approximately 8:30 a.m. while the temporary bridge is put into place. Please use the alternate route.
