Mission POW MIA Sunday evening check in! Today we cataloged dozens and dozens of original captured Viet Cong and PAVN artifacts. We are especially thankful for the US veterans and families who have sent us these items. They will be used in our Operation: H.E.A.R.T. program, as we work with Vietnam to exchange them for American MIA items on display in museums.
As you can see the artifacts include ID media, diaries, agendas, notebooks, personal photos, uniforms, field gear and equipment, flags and much more. Both Vietnamese and US families want original items returned to them.
If you are a Vietnam Veteran and are ready to part with an artifact you may have brought back from the war or a family member who has inherited an item, please reach out to us. Your item may lead to the return of an American MIA artifact. You could be making a difference for families on both sides.
