Lehigh Township Volunteer Fire Co. 4188 Lehigh Drive, Cherryville, Pennsylvania 18035 The Lehigh Township Volunteer Fire Company #1 is located in Cherryville Northampton County Pennsylvania.

We are 100% Volunteer, and have a fire duty squad of 43 active Fire Fighters and 9 Fire Police. We protect over 10,000 residents, in a area of 30 square miles with 120 miles of roadways. We respond on a average of 391 emergencies a year.

Lehigh Township fire crews are currently assisting in Washington Township, Lehigh County, for a mountain fire. Please use caution if you’re traveling in the area. If possible, avoid Mountain Road due to the large number of emergency crews on scene.

Today we are at the Blue Mountain Fish & Game on Wood Drive for our 2nd Annual Heros Fishing Derby. Here is a brief video of our basket raffle items. We are open to the public till 4:30 pm, and the drawing will be held at 4:30.

There are 3 additional sportsman equipment raffles in the club house.

Today, we proudly accepted delivery of our newly built Ladder 4721, which will replace our previous 1990 unit.

This apparatus will be placed into service following extensive training by department personnel.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the committee for their countless hours of work on the specifications, as well as to our township and its residents for their continued support.
