*** UPDATE Dec. 10 - 2:40 pm ***

The 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing Band hosts two FREE holiday concerts at the Two Rivers Theater on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 12-13.

Friday's concert begins at 5:30 pm. The concert is free, but base access is required.

Saturday's concert begins at 3 pm. The concert is free and open to the public.

Earlier Post (Dec. 9 - 7 pm)

Friday's (Dec. 12) 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing Band holiday concert is no longer open to the public. It is now open only to invited individuals and their guests.

Saturday's concert (Dec. 13, 3 pm at the Two Rivers Theater) remains free and open to the public as originally scheduled.

The most recent appropriations for the U.S. Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

U.S. Marines with the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing Band, Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-250, performed at various places around Nashville during Marine Week Nashville, in Nashville, Tennessee. Founded on November 10, 1775, the United States Marine Corps has served our nation honorably in every clime and place for 250 years. Throughout 2025, Marines across the globe will celebrate the 250th birthday of the Corps, commemorating service, sacrifice, and priding themselves on living ‘Semper Fidelis’ or ‘Always Faithful’ to their nation and to each other.
