🐾Look at those faces! Help local dogs and cats until they find their furever homes this holiday season. CHPL is helping the Voorhees Animal Orphanage throughout the month of December. Donations are accepted during business hours. Drop off items in the lobby. Suggested items are listed below and on our website. Hello to the Friends of the Friends! We regret to announce that this year we are not hosting the scholarship contest. Due to the pandemic the Friends of the Library have been inactive all year. Therefore we have not been able to do any fundraising. We extend our apologies to the students and families who had hoped to participate. We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy.

It's budget time in Trenton and the State of New Jersey must have a new budget by July 1, 2018.

We are aware of two budget resolutions which have been proposed to provide additional funding for library programs.

As library advocates, we urge you to contact members of the Legislature who will be deciding the upcoming budget indicating your support for one or both of the resolutions. It is very important that libraries get additional funding to support programs that serve residents of all ages.
