Seniors & Parents

Throughout the fall, Cherokee High School will offer several opportunities to get help with college applications, scholarships, FAFSA, essays, resumes, and more.

📅 September 22 | 5:00–7:00 PM
✍️ Admission Essay Writing • Scholarship Assistance • Cover Letters • FSA ID Setup

📅 October 6 | 5:30–7:00 PM
💰 FAFSA Financial Aid Night with NWOSU Representatives
Please bring Social Security numbers, phone numbers, and banking/financial information.

📅 November 5 | 5:00–7:00 PM
🤝 Student Help Night — Bring your questions and work on it all night!

📅 December 14 | 4th & 5th Hours
📚 Senior Work Day with Mrs. Jordan in the CHS Library
Work on graduation requirements, essays, FAFSA questions, resumes, and plans for life after high school.

📍 All evening meetings will be held in Mrs. Baldwin’s Room.

Cherokee High School students have several opportunities this fall to prepare for college and future success!

October 1 – Pre-ACT for all 10th graders
October 6 – District ACT for 11th & 12th graders
October 20 – PSAT/NMSQT for 9th–11th graders

We’re also offering ACT Test Prep Classes at NWTC on October 14 and December 2!
