Today we responded to a traumatic injury. When we arrived on scene we encountered a victim with a large laceration. EMS was enroute and a medivac was requested. AEVAC 16 was landed and the patient was transported to the trauma center in Memphis. I want thank all of our team that responded and provided a vital service to our community.

This incident marked the first time our recently completed helicopter landing zones were used. They proved to be invaluable in this operation. The department has competed 3 and working toward a goal of 4-5 dedicated LZs. With the communities continued support we will strive to improve and expand our capabilities. Thank you all !

Improvements to our equipment to better serve our community. Upgrading our attack lines to 1.75 inch hand lines. Thanks everyone for your continued support, it allows the department to keep moving forward.
