I’m somewhat at a loss for words today, but I’ll say this: I can’t think of anyone who could truly fill the shoes of Sen. Graham and all he meant to the Palmetto State.
Whether it was fighting to secure our border or advocating for funding for education and law enforcement, he was one of those rare leaders who could bridge divides in an increasingly polarized political world.
I had the privilege of spending time with him in McAllen, Texas, at the southern border, and I saw firsthand his dedication to serving our country and the people of South Carolina.
Please join me in praying for Darline, his family, and his incredible staff, who loves this state every bit as much as he did. His legacy of service will not be forgotten.
