The Orange County Sheriff’s Department is now hiring for Deputy Positions; including both new to Law Enforcement or previously certified as a Level II or Level III Officer in the State of Vermont. This position includes paid training (internal and state level at the Vermont Police Academy), uniform, equipment provided, and field training.

Starting Wage: $22/hour
After Certification and FTO: $25/hour
*pay will be commensurate with the experience, skills, and qualifications that the candidate brings to the position.

Duties to Include: Directed Patrols, Traffic Enforcement, Prison Transportation, Road Constructions Contacted Details, Civil Services, and Other

Qualifying Skills: Good Communication, No Criminal Record, Good Hygiene, Well Groomed, Punctual and Reliable.
