Faith & Blue 2026 | Final Stop: Revival Chelsea! 💙🙏⛪

What an incredible way to close out our Faith & Blue 2026 journey!

On October 23, the Chelsea Police Department joined Revival Chelsea, led by Pastor Elaine Mendes, for our final Faith & Blue community engagement event!

The evening brought together members of CPD, faith leaders, community leaders, and residents for a heartfelt celebration of faith, unity, and community. Captain Dave Rizzuto and City Manager Fidel Maltez delivered remarks highlighting the importance of community partnerships, trust, and the relationships that connect law enforcement with the people we serve.

Following the remarks, attendees enjoyed fellowship over a delicious meal, with Chelsea Police officers proudly serving food to our community members! It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, share stories, and enjoy each other's company. We even got to celebrate a birthday; Happy Birthday Adela! Thanks for your sharing your special day with us.

As we officially wrap up Faith & Blue 2026, we couldn't be more grateful! 💙

Throughout this journey, we've visited different houses of worship, shared meals, exchanged perspectives, and built meaningful connections across Chelsea's diverse faith communities. Each gathering reminded us that while our backgrounds, traditions, and beliefs may differ, our commitment to a safe, welcoming, and united Chelsea brings us together.

A special thank you to Pastor Elaine Mendes, Revival Chelsea, all our participating faith communities, city leaders, and everyone who helped make this year's Faith & Blue events possible!

Although Faith & Blue 2026 has come to an end, the relationships we've strengthened and the bridges we've built will continue well beyond these events.

Here's to more conversations, more connections, and an even stronger Chelsea! 💙

Different faiths. Shared values. One Chelsea. 💙

💙 Celebrating our retirees!

Last night, the Chelsea Police Department gathered at the Brown Jug to celebrate five colleagues and thank them for their years of service to our department and the Chelsea community:

⭐ Officer Bernard “Bernie” Grayson
⭐ Officer Richard “Richie” Rossetti
⭐ Officer Mark O’Connor
⭐ Officer Robert Moschella Jr.
⭐ Animal Control Officer Joao Teixeira

It was a special evening of sharing memories, catching up, and recognizing the dedication each has brought to their work over the years.

To our retirees: thank you for your service, friendship, and everything you have contributed to the City of Chelsea. You will always be part of the Chelsea Police family.

Congratulations to all five! Wishing you good health, happiness, and a wonderful retirement. 💙👏

☕🐾 Something fun is brewing at the Williams School!

CHELSEA stopped by to check out Sip and Howl, a new classroom entrepreneurship program where students get a taste of running a business while building teamwork, confidence, and practical skills.

What a wonderful way to bring learning to life! A big shout-out to the students and educators making this program happen. Chelsea loved getting a peek at your new venture! 💛

Today, Chelsea Police Department’s Sergeant Star Chung shared her talent through a spoken-word performance at Chelsea District Court’s Cultural Appreciation Signature Court Event.

With the theme “Access and Justice: We Stand Together,” the event brought together court leaders, community partners, and participants to celebrate the diversity and culture that enrich our community.

Thank you to Chelsea District Court and its Probation Department for bringing everyone together, and to Sergeant Chung for representing CPD through her creativity and commitment to Chelsea. 💙

💙 Building connections through Faith & Blue 💙

This past Wednesday, October 21, members of the Chelsea Police Department joined community members, faith leaders, and city officials at People’s African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church for a wonderful evening of fellowship and connection led by Pastor Sarah Smith.

Together, we enjoyed a thoughtful presentation, meaningful conversation, and a delicious meal.

Thank you to People’s AME Church for welcoming us and to everyone who attended. Opportunities to gather around the table help strengthen relationships, build trust, and bring our Chelsea community closer together.

Faith & Blue 2026 | Fifth Stop: Revive Community Church! 💙🙏⛪

On October 16, the Chelsea Police Department continued our Faith & Blue 2026 series at Revive Community Church, led by Pastor Diego Netto!

The evening brought together members of CPD, city councilors, community leaders, faith leaders, and residents for worship, reflection, and meaningful conversations. We were also pleased to be joined by Pastor Keila Velez and Pastor Francisco Quiles.

A highlight of the evening was a panel discussion featuring Pastor Diego Netto, City Manager Fidel Maltez, and CPD Patrol Division Commander Captain Tom McLain. Pastor Netto led the discussion with questions focused on law enforcement's relationship with Chelsea residents, community trust, and strengthening partnerships between the police and the people we serve.

Faith & Blue is about building bridges, fostering understanding, and strengthening relationships—one conversation at a time.

A special thank you to Pastor Netto, Revive Community Church, and everyone who joined us for another meaningful evening!

Five events down, and we're keeping the momentum going! 💙
