Do you have that nagging feeling that you’re forgetting something? Animal control citations will be issued THIS MONDAY, JUNE 15th, for all unlicensed dogs. Citations add an additional $50 to the existing registration and late fees. Save yourself $50 and license now!

Precincts 1, 2, 3, and 4 are all currently underrepresented at Town Meeting. This means these four precincts have less of a say on Town issues than other precincts! If you live in one of these precincts, you can solve this by volunteering to be appointed to fill one of these vacancies. Appointments expire on April 6, 2027.

Anyone interested in being appointed should email [email protected] to provide your name, email, and phone number. Please submit your interest by June 1, 2026.

The return of summer means the return of animal control citations for any dog that is not licensed by June 15th.

If you have not yet licensed for 2026, save yourself the additional $50 citation fee and license ASAP.

License renewals can be done online at https://permiteyes.us/chelmsford/publichome.php

MUNICIPAL CLERK WEEK STAFF SPOTLIGHT DAY 3: Pamela Connors

Our Democracy Barbie💃🇺🇲, Flower Child 🌻✌️☮️, lover of history, music, and dogs. Pam joined the Clerk’s Office at the start of 2022 as the Departmental Assistant and was later appointed as the Assistant Town Clerk in 2025. In addition to her daily duties, Pam is the creator behind our social media content (except this one). We credit her for an increase in the public's civic engagement, having residents share that our posts brought them out to vote and even run for local office. Pam earned her Master's in Business Administration (MBA) in 2022, will graduate from the New England Municipal Clerk’s Institute next summer, and is diligently working toward her Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) designation.

Outside of the Clerk’s Office, Pam enjoys spending time outdoors gardening, exercising, and exploring the new england coast with her husband. A proud auntie, Pam loves hockey, knitting, and baking for her friends and family and welcomes new recipes to try!

MUNICIPAL CLERK WEEK STAFF SPOTLIGHT DAY 1: Tricia Dzuris

Trish became Town Clerk in 2017, following 10 years in the Town Manager’s Office, and 2 years in the Sewer Department before that. Trish has overseen several improvements, including adopting poll pads at the polls, digitizing the town’s permanent records, updating the vaults and record storage rooms-including the fire suppression systems, and updating multiple processes and systems within the office, making the team more efficient. A graduate of the New England Municipal Clerk’s Institute, Trish has achieved the designations of Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) and Certified Massachusetts Municipal Clerk (CMMC).

Outside of her numerous professional achievements, Tricia’s favorite role is Nana to her adorable granddaughter! An avid kayaker, Trish can often be found floating on a river or enjoying her free time with her dogs in New Hampshire. (Trish’s dogs featured in the bottom right square 🐶)
