So it looks like we are in the home stretch and may even be sneaking in an extra band.

Frontwoods is sounding like a great fit as a bonus band to the Live from the Farm series, adding another musical style and helping round out what is becoming a really diverse lineup.

This entire series is made possible through a generous grant from the Chelmsford Cultural Council, and we are genuinely thankful for their support. From the start we have tried to make this something family-friendly and welcoming, while also reflecting the many musical styles and cultural influences that make up our community. From Celtic and Americana to jazz, acoustic rock, chorus, and traditional Cambodian music, the goal has been to bring people together through music in a relaxed farm setting.

The next step is final sign-off by the Town to confirm the schedule and details. That process should happen later this week and into early next week.

Concerts are set for later in the summer with our opening performance on June 13.

So bring a chair, pack some food, bring the kids and maybe a ball so they can run and play on the grass or just relax and enjoy the music. Well-behaved dogs are welcome too and, best of all, the concerts are completely free.

We had a lot of bands apply and tried to accommodate as many as we could within the grant and scheduling limits. While not everyone could fit into this year's series, the response was fantastic and much appreciated.

The good news is that we expect a similar number of performances in 2027, so if you are a local musician or know a group that might be interested, keep an eye on this page as we head into next season.

We will post final confirmations and updates as they are approved.

Family-friendly and value-added in the mission for 2026!
