Buffalo Niagara International Airport Fire Department

Buffalo Niagara International Airport Fire Department The Buffalo Niagara Airport ARFF was organized July 1, 1981 to serve and assist the traveling public, airport employees and the surrounding communities.

The Buffalo (NY) Airport Fire Department is a full-time, career department entrusted to protect the customers, employees, and visitors of the Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BNIA). We are responsible for fire protection and suppression for all aircraft, structures, and vehicles on airport property and surrounding areas. We also provide Emergency Medical Services and Basic Life Support to those in need. Our primary goal is the safety of the people we serve and we have the capabilities to perform a rescue or extrication as well, in the event a person cannot free themselves following a aircraft incident or motor vehicle accident. Our firefighters are proud members of the Buffalo Airport Professional Firefighters Association Union. This page was generated by and is run by the Buffalo Airport Professional Firefighters Union.
