What a summer it has been! ☀️❤️

Six weeks filled with fun, sunshine, field trips, laughter, smiles, and so many memories that we will carry with us long after camp is over.

Like every summer, we had our share of challenges and struggles, but we also had countless moments that reminded us why we do what we do. Today, I could see the sadness on the faces of our campers and staff as we said goodbye, and it was a beautiful reminder of just how special this place and these six weeks have become.

A tremendous THANK YOU to my amazing staff, our wonderful campers, and all of our families. We truly could not have this program without every one of you. ❤️

The kind words, hugs, and thank-yous from our families mean more than you know. They make all the hard work, long days, challenges, and late nights worth it. They remind me why we come back year after year — to give our campers the very best summer we possibly can and to create six weeks filled with happiness, friendship, growth, and memories.

Thank you for another incredible summer. Until next year… ❤️☀️

Tomorrow is the last day of camp, and we are off to the Erie County Fair!!

🌀 Make sure your camper is wearing their navy blue field trip shirt!

🎒 Campers do NOT need backpacks for this field trip.

🎡 We do NOT do games and we do NOT do rides.

🎟️ We will be visiting as many shows and exhibits as time allows. There is so much to do for FREE at the fair!

💵 If you send money for your camper, please put it in a ziploc or envelope labeled with their name, and tell their counselor if it is for snacks or gift items.

🥪 If your camper participates in Alexander’s free lunch program, lunch WILL be provided.

We can’t believe it’s already the last week of camp!!

🌈 Make sure your camper is dressed in their team color for Camp Olympics on Thursday.

We are aware of a video that has recently been shared on social media depicting an incident involving Teen Club. While the video has only recently become public, the events shown occurred more than a year ago in 2025.
Because the video reflects a moment in time without the full surrounding context, we encourage the public to avoid drawing conclusions based solely on the brief clip. Any situation involving minors deserves to be viewed carefully and responsibly, recognizing that circumstances, relationships, and subsequent actions may not be evident in a short recording.
The well-being and privacy of the minors involved remain a priority. Out of respect for them, we will not comment on specific individuals or speculate about matters that cannot be fairly represented in a social media post.
We understand that the video may raise questions, and we appreciate the public's interest in the matter. We ask that discussions remain respectful and that everyone avoid targeting or identifying the minors involved.

Tomorrow is a split field trip! Lots of important information below. 👀👀

‼️ALL BUSES will be departing promptly at 9:15am. Please make sure your camper arrives before then.
🎒Campers do NOT need to bring backpacks for either trip!!

⛵️ A1, A2, A3, and Camp Dartwood will be going to the Explore & More Museum in Buffalo!
🥪 Camp lunches will be provided for Alexander.

🎳 A4, A5, and A6 will be going bowling at Lancaster Lanes!
🍕 We will be having pizza lunch at the bowling alley. If your camper does not want pizza, please pack a lunch. **The lunch program will not be available for the bowling trip.
🚫 Please do not send money with your camper for bowling. The snack stand will not be available.

🖍️ Both field trips will return to their camp buildings after lunch and enjoy activities during the afternoon.

Tomorrow we are heading to Evangola Beach! ⛱️

‼️ Buses will be departing at 10:15am, so please make sure your camper arrives before then.

🌀 Make sure your camper is wearing their navy field trip shirt!

🩱 Also send your camper wearing their swimsuit (and pack a change of clothes) so they don’t have to worry about getting changed at the camp building in the morning.

🩴 Remember to send your camper with a towel, sunscreen, and crocs/sandals as well!

🥪 Camp lunches will be provided for Alexander. If your camper does not participate in the lunch program, please send a brown bagged lunch.
