👟 Officers responded to a neighbor dispute after someone allegedly threw another resident’s shoes down the stairs during an argument.

🌳 Police checked on a woman reportedly sleeping under a tree waiting for “the feds to come get her.” Officers determined no intervention was needed.

🔦 Residents reported possible prowlers using flashlights outside homes overnight, but officers later discovered neighbors were simply working outside on their property.

🚲 One overnight traffic stop involved a bicyclist being stopped because the bike allegedly did not have a proper light attached.

🐶 Officers also assisted with multiple loose dog complaints and neighborhood animal calls throughout the week.

⚖️ Helpful Legal & Safety Tip of the Week:

Warmer weather often leads to increased overnight activity, reckless driving complaints, loud parties, and neighborhood disturbances. Please remember to lock vehicles, remove valuables from sight, avoid impaired driving, and report suspicious activity immediately if something feels unsafe.

As always, all subjects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

Stay safe Cheektowaga. 🚔
