Views like this will become reality again this season. Last summer we removed a cast iron window frame from the kitchen and sent it to shore for restoration. This summer it will be reinstalled with its matching replica windows. The windows have been a project spanning several years, but our incredible volunteers and supporters are bringing the lighthouse back to life. Want to join the team or donate towards the project? As spring approaches, so does lighthouse season! We are fundraising to finish the electrical installation this year (we need another $3000 to finish getting supplies). Also, This year if you join the society as a lifetime member you will receive a beautiful 18x24 print of the lighthouse. This historic view shows the tender Aspen moored to the lighthouse circa 1920. It is our goal to bring the lighthouse back to this appearance, and your donations help us get closer to it!
