We've got the chance for very intense and damaging storms beginning this afternoon and through till Friday. At this time the District 7 Skywarn team is up and monitoring the situation. CCECPSCO members please report severe weather events to us via the Petoskey, Mackinaw City or Cheboygan repeaters.

Remember to keep batteries charged and any other preparations for power outages. Some of these storms are reporting 100 mph winds embedded in them.

Stay safe everyone
