Our newest horse club, Rodeo Rangers, is under way and has started meeting up for educational meetings and trail rides!

The group met up for an introductory meeting to talk about goals and expectations for the year and met a week later to talk about horse handling and safety.

That same weekend, some of the members were able to take advantage of the gorgeous weather and go on a trail ride in Riggsville.

The club has also started to return cans as a fundraiser for educational field trips in the spring!

This weekend, come and meet some of the members of the club at the Tractors and Treats event! Leader Belle Buhr will have her draft team in the parade and at the fairgrounds for hay rides, along with several members riding in the parade and hanging out for a bit to introduce their equine friends!

Admission is free and a great time for folks of all ages! We hope to see you there!🍁💚🐴🍀🚜

Calling all 4-Hers and their families! Come join us on October 18th to learn a little about the city's gardens and help get them ready for the winter!

Sponsored by Garden Club, this Sunday afternoon activity is great for the whole family. There will be some learning, some work, and some tasty c***r and donuts.

The event will kick off at 2pm at Cheboygan's History Center at 404 S Huron St. We'll work in the Rose Garden and the Herb Garden. Hope to see you there!

We have a few amazing clubs that still have room for youth! One of them is our Cooking, Canning and Baking SPIN Club. We are looking for 9-15 year olds that want to have fun in the kitchen!

We are going to make and preserve apple sauce, cook some fun and nutritious meals, and bake quick bread and some holiday favorites.

Come join us next week for our first day on Thursday October 1st when we are going to make some oven-baked smores and make a plan for the season!

Looking to experience the educational wonders of raising a market livestock project? Our newest Cheboygan County 4-H club "Stockyard Stars" has collaborated with the local market livestock group Cheboygan County Youth Livestock Program (CCYLP) to bring life skills, quality market livestock and education together for a great learning experience!
If your child is interested in raising a market livestock project and utilizing educational materials and clinics through MSU Extension in collaboration with Cheboygan County 4-H , please join us for an informational meeting at B & S Hog Farm on Sunday the 27th at 6pm! We hope to see you there!

Join our new 4-H horse club in the gallery room at the Cheboygan Public Library at 6pm on Monday September 14th for an introductory meeting! This club will focus on trail riding, speed events and recreational equine activities. Access to a horse is preferred but not necessary to join. We hope to see you there! 💚🐴🍀
