Chauncey Friendly Circle On October 5, 1973 it was incorporated as a non-profit organization. At it's peak, the Friendly Circle Club had 85 members.

The Friendly Circle Club, Senior Citizens was established February 7, 1969. The present building was purchased on September 19, 1973 and many members of the club shared in the remodeling project of turning an old garage into a beautiful Club House. he purpose o

f the club shall be to unite the senior citizens of Chauncey and the surrounding area. Members should have an interest in the social and economic improvements of the community. Members should also have an interest in supplementing the club treasury with dinners, raffles, or other fundraising projects, in doing handcrafts, planning and implementing social events and recreation for members. Members should also have an interest and input in having speakers for the group on current issues of interest or importance to senior citizens, such as Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security and other relevant programs, as well as, issues important to the Village of Chauncey and have an interest in working with local groups or organizations for the benefit of the Village of Chauncey.
