You’ll notice a small change to our logo this month.

It’s intentional.

Pride Month is not a branding exercise for us. It’s a recognition that LGBTQ+ people in our community deserve safety, dignity, equal rights, and leaders willing to say that clearly.

We know symbols aren’t enough. A rainbow logo doesn’t do the work. People do.

But being open about where we stand matters too. So here’s where we stand: Hamilton County Democrats support our LGBTQ+ neighbors, friends, families, candidates, and community members, not just in June, but year-round.

Check out our weekly calendar and find your place in the movement 💙

Our Blue Tent nights are the perfect way to get out in the community, knock doors, talk with voters, and connect directly with local candidates.

This week we will be out in District 8 & District 6 knocking for Josh Wichman For County Commission District 8, Vote David Sharpe, and Ben Connor - Hamilton County School Board!

Not a door knocker? No problem! Join us for phone banking at HCDP Hub Night in the office on Wednesday or help power campaigns by writing postcards.

Got questions or just want to learn more? Stop by our office hours. We would love to meet you and get you plugged into the work HCDP is doing.

Hey folks, due to the inclement weather in the East Brainerd area this evening, the HCDP will be postponing tonight’s D8 Hub Night.

Blue Tent Days are BACK!!

If you’ve been looking for a way to get involved, this is it. Blue Tent Days are our coordinated volunteer days across Hamilton County where we team up with Democratic candidates to connect with voters and build real momentum heading into the general election.

Here’s what to expect:
You’ll check in at a Blue Tent, get a quick training, and then jump into the action: knocking doors, making phone calls, waving signs for our candidates, and helping energize the community. Whether you’re canvassing or phone banking, you’ll be supported every step of the way.

And yes, we work hard, but we also have fun doing it. Great people, good energy, and real impact.

We’re out every Wednesday and Saturday. Look for Blue Tents in your neighborhood.

This Memorial Day, we honor the brave souls who gave everything for our nation. Their sacrifice calls us to more than gratitude, it calls us to action.

In Hamilton County and across the country, too many veterans still struggle to access the mental health care, housing, and support they’ve earned.

We owe our fallen more than words. We owe them a system that truly serves those who served.

Let’s honor the past by building a future where fewer lives are lost to war, and where every veteran comes home to the care they deserve.

It’s always a great time spending time with candidates Mona Petro and Mark Herndon for Hamilton County Mayor.

If you’re new to volunteering, I strongly encourage you to come out to a Blue Tent Day.

It’s one of the best ways to get involved: meet fellow neighbors, talk directly with candidates, and learn more about the needs and priorities across Hamilton County.

You’ll get a chance to knock doors, phone bank, and connect with voters in a hands on, welcoming environment. No time to volunteer, stay in the fight by donating to the HCDP!
