Emerging Leaders recognize young men & women who value philanthropy and who passionately support the work of United Way to advance the common good in our community. United Way Emerging Leaders are business professionals, teachers, physicians, CEO’s, volunteers, public officials, and individuals. They come from a variety of backgrounds, but they all have one thing in common: they care deeply about
this community. Any individual or couple, age 40 or younger, is eligible to join Emerging Leaders when they:
• Give $500 or more per year (no volunteer hours required)
• Give $250 and volunteer a minimum of 10 hours per year
• Give $0 and volunteer a minimum of 20 hours per year
Benefits of joining Emerging Leaders:
• Opportunity to network and form new partnerships with area business and community leader.
• Participate in Emerging Leaders special events that will be held throughout the year. Opportunities may include receptions with community leaders, special volunteer projects, etc.
• Promote philanthropy, volunteerism and community impact in greater Chattanooga.
• Become educated on community issues and programs receiving United Way support.
