The JumpFund The JumpFund is a group of female angel investors whose mission lies in investing in strong, female-led companies to elevate the role of women in business.

On the local and national level, there is a lack of support networks to encourage women to develop growth oriented ventures. This is directly tied to the fact that investors are predominantly men, and women have not traditionaly had as much experience in the investment arena. The JumpFund provides a confidence-building support network for women, encouraging them to take the risk and launch high-gr

owth business ideas. From an economic development view, women are an untapped market of potential entrepreneurs that make up over 50% of the consumer base. Studies have recently shown that the success rate of female-led or gender diverse teams elevates women as business leaders on a global scale to fundamentally change the way we do business worldwide. Ultimately, by investing in women, Chattanooga and the southeast region will be seen as a more attractive hub for entrepreneurs and investors.

Learn about the director...

Nora Poggi is a French journalist with a background in film production who has been interviewing key players in Silicon Valley for the past four years. After graduating from French top schools Sciences Po Paris and La Sorbonne, she moved to San Francisco to work for French social network Viadeo.com. She then went back to her first love, films, with the production company Lucky Dragon Productions, where she trained in all areas of film production and promotion.
