The annual Gear-age Sale is back on September 19th, and we're bringing something extra special with us this year: our very first Repair Fair!

We're gathering as a community to patch, fix, and refresh your well-loved outdoor equipment. Whether it's replacing backpack buckles, lubing your bike chain, or tuning your telescope, bring your worn gear by and let's keep it in action.

Swipe through to see what we can repair and check the time windows for specialized stations (like kayak welding and boot gluing).

4 days away, and here’s the best part: it’s 100% FREE!

You don't need a ticket, a pass, or a single dollar to jump into the giant foam slide, tackle the bike rodeo, or try your hand at slacklining. We’re taking over Coolidge Park this Saturday (11 AM – 3 PM) with completely free fun for the whole family. Who says the best weekend plans have to break the bank?

Welcome to “What’s Your Outside?” 🍃 - a new series that aims to highlight how everyday Chattanoogans connect with the outdoors.

Reporting from the Chattanooga River Games, we’re here to remind you that being “outdoorsy” doesn’t have to mean scaling cliffs or catching big air! Fresh air and vitamin D count just as much when you’re reading a book on the back porch, tending to your garden, or taking a quiet afternoon stroll down the block.

We believe every version of getting outside is wonderful. So, what’s yours? 👇

More than 200 paddlers joined us on the Tennessee River for the 2026 Chattanooga Paddle Parade, and y’all really showed up! The river was full of kayaks, canoes, SUPs, and some seriously creative costumes (I mean, a floating dumpster fire?!? 🗑️🔥😂)

A big thank you to Tennessee Valley Canoe Club, Tennessee RiverLine, Sequatchie River Outfitters, all of our amazing volunteers, and Chattanooga Fire Department for bringing out the fire boat and helping make the day such a success.

And of course, congratulations to our costume contest winners! We loved seeing what everyone came up with. 🤩

There’s nothing quite like seeing this many people out on the water together, enjoying the river and having a good time.

Thanks for paddling with us, Chattanooga. We’ll see you out there! 🌊

Paddle Parade photo dump, part 3 🛶💦

Still smiling about this one.

There’s something pretty special about seeing this many people out on the water together — friends, families, first-timers, longtime paddlers, and a whole lot of Chattanooga showing up to play outside.

Here are few of our favorite moments from the day. 💙
