Our Story
Our event commemorates the first major U.S. defeat of the Seminole Wars, which took place on November 30,1817. The defeat of Lt. Scott's command left 34 men, 6 women and 4 children dead and led the Monroe Administration to order the 1818 invasion of Spanish Florida. We host a living history commemoration each year on the first weekend of December.
We return to beautiful River Landing Park in Chattahoochee, Florida for 2019! This year’s event will take place Friday-Sunday, December 6-9, 2019.
