The entrance to River Landing Road in Chattahoochee will be closed at midnight tonight (6/12/26). It will reopen on 6/13/26 at 9 pm.

The Second Harvest Food Bank, in partnership with the City of Chattahoochee, will be hosting a drive-thru food distribution on Thursday, June 11, 2026.

Pick up will begin at 10 am and last until all supplies have been distributed. Boxes will be distributed at the City of Chattahoochee's Recreational Center located at 131 Oak St, Chattahoochee, FL 32324.

A huge thanks to the Second Harvest of the Big Bend for partnering with the City of Chattahoochee and help providing for our community!

Every one is invited to attend the "Stop the Violence" event hosted by Chaplain Jimmy Salters from the Gadsden County Sheriff's Office. Chaplain Salters will be Southside Park on June 11 at 6:30 pm EST. This event will provide free education, free prayers, and free food for those in attendance.

Come out and stand together whether family, neighbor, friend, or acquaintance. This is our community. Our home.

If you missed out on the boat races this weekend then you surely missed a good time!

The City of Chattahoochee would like to thank Jim Glass, the Chattahoochee Police Department, city employees, and Southern Outlaw Dragboat Association for their efforts in providing this free event for our community. Events like this require many hands to make it happen and they did just that without a missing a beat.

There's also something to be said for the way this community shows up and supports events in our area. We need community now more than ever. So THANK YOU to everyone who showed up, shared a post, and supported our local efforts.
