Chatham Borough Vol Fire Dept. Assoc. The Chatham Borough Fire Department was established organized in 1898. This page is for friends, family, and fans of the FD.

The department is comprised of mostly volunteers members with a Chief of Department, Fire Official and a daytime Fire Inspector during normal business hours during the week. I would love videos posted, pics, bar locations that look like old fire houses. Any info thats going on CFD related, parades or musters. There must be a wacker or two who will post some fire calls here too.

Last night, members of the Chatham Township Fire Department and Chatham Borough Fire Department joined us at the Morris County Fire Academy for our annual Class A Burn training.

Training like this reinforces the importance of teamwork, communication, and coordination in the fire service.
Big thank you to the New Vernon First Aid Squad for setting up the rehab station.
Great work by all departments!!!

We the members of the Chatham Borough Fire Department are devastated by the loss of Terry McCabe. Terry was a staunch supporter of our community. His generosity and goodwill was a beacon of love and hope to those who knew him. Terry owned and operated a sports shop then Scoops The Chatham Creamery, a beloved pastime to many.
Our hearts go out to the McCabe family in this painful loss. Terry’s memory will forever live on as a truly great Chathamite.
