NOW HIRING

The Village of Chateaugay, with offices located at 8 Iron Ave, Chateaugay, NY, is seeking a full-time MEO. This position requires routine manual work requiring physical endurance and a willingness to perform various tasks. A full job description is available upon request. Applicants must have a valid NYS license; a CDL is preferred. Pay scale is based on union contract.

Applications may be picked up at the Village of Chateaugay offices, Monday – Friday, 8am – 2pm and returned by June 17, 2026.

Village offices will be closed Friday, April 3, 2026 in observance of Good Friday. Offices will reopen on Monday, April 6, 2026 and resume regular business hours.

Today is Election Day for the village!! Polls will be open from 12pm - 9pm. There are two Trustee officers to be elected, for a 2 year term. The current incumbents, Valerie Dalton; and Courtney Leonard, are both running for re-election.
