To Our Beloved Chaska Community,
Thank you for the opportunity to serve this incredible school community for the past 10 years. It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to work alongside our dedicated staff, our families, and especially our students.
As I reflect on my decade here, so many memories come rushing back. I still remember standing on the stage at my very first graduation ceremony. Watching the students file in, feeling that excitement for them and their families—it is a feeling I always get at graduation and will remember.
It has been a joy to walk into this building every single day. Connecting with students and watching them grow from wide-eyed ninth graders into confident young adults on graduation day has been a privilege. Seeing them walk across that stage, knowing exactly how hard they worked to accomplish their goals, and witnessing the immense pride in the eyes of their families and friends is an honor that will stay with me forever.
I have lived in this community for 25 years now, and I plan to stay here. While the towns we serve have grown dramatically over the years, our core "small-town" values have never changed. That sense of community is exactly what makes this the greatest place to be.
I leave knowing our students are in great hands. Our staff, alongside your new principal, Victor Johnson, will continue to take incredible care of the students at Chaska High School.
I tell everyone who walks through our doors the exact same thing: Chaska High School is a special place. We have fostered an environment where the staff truly focuses on kids, support families, and pushes students to achieve far more than they ever thought they could.
Thank you all for giving me the opportunity to be part of your child's educational journey. It has been honor to say that I was the Principal of Chaska High School for 10 wonderful years.
Soar Hawks,
Jim Bach
