We are a middle school serving approximately 780 students in grades 6-8 in Carver Co., Minnesota.

Some of the 6th graders got to visit Rapids Lake Wildlife Refuge today. They spoke with a naturalist Hanna, went on an information scavenger hunt in the exhibit, learned about birds and their beaks, collected specimens, and looked at what they collected under field microscopes. What an amazing day!

Science is awesome! 8th grade students are learning about gravitational force and Newton’s First Law of Motion.

If gravity is pulling down on the egg, and the pie plate is the only object that has force applied to it. Will it fall straight down and land in the glass?
