Looking for something worthwhile to do this summer? Why not check out the Summer Reading Program at the Charlton Public Library? The program starts on June 22 and ends on August 7. All ages - from babies to adults - are invited to participate. The theme this year is "Plant a seed, read!" Each time you check out a book you'll receive a raffle ticket. Lots of age-appropriate prizes for every patron. And you get to spin the prize wheel at the circulation desk! Come on in and check it out.

The Summer Reading Program is sponsored in part by the Friends of Charlton Public Library.

Just a reminder that the Friends of Charlton Public Library will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, June 9, at 3:30 pm in the Community Room inside the Charlton Public Library. We hope you can join us for this last meeting before our summer break. Your input helps us plan programs and events that benefit library patrons and the wider community. Thanks to all who visited the Friends of Charlton Public Library Book Sale on Saturday. Your ongoing support is overwhelming - thank you!!!

Remember, the Charlton Public Library has a Book Sale Room just inside the front doors that is open during library hours. We accept donations (there is a bin in the room) on an ongoing basis. So if you need a good read for vacation or any other reason, stop by and check out the selection.

The Friends of Charlton Public Library are grateful for such a generous community!

Attention members - today is a special Book Sale preview just for you! Stop by the Charlton Public Library between noon and 4 pm and have a first look at the amazing selection of books. We have fiction (all types!), non-fiction, travel, cookbooks, religion/spirituality, poetry/plays, biography/autobiography, paperbacks, romance, children's - lots and lots of children's titles!

Donations (you decide how much) in cash, check, and Venmo accepted!

Remember, you have to be a member in good standing. If you are not yet a member, you can join today!

Big book sale coming this Saturday, May 9, from 10 am to 2 pm in Dexter Hall, second floor in the Charlton Public Library. Members in good standing are invited to a preview sale on Friday, May 8, from noon to 4 pm. Get a first look at all the wonderful titles. You choose what you pay. Donations accepted in cash, check or Venmo.

They're here! Beautiful arrangements tied to amazing books! The Friends of Charlton Public Library and the Charlton Garden Club invite you to stop by the Charlton Public Library to view these amazing creations.

While you are here, check out the Weber 28" propane griddle, perfect for summer picnics and parties. Tickets are $2 each, 3 for $5. All proceeds benefit the Charlton Public Library.
