Skills Builder is a FREE job readiness program designed to help jobseekers strengthen the skills employers value, improve their resumes and interviewing skills, and prepare to stand out in today’s workplace.
And you can choose the option that works best for you:
• Online, self-paced — Complete the Skills Builder course on your own schedule and at your own pace.
• In-person — Get hands-on support and learn along with your peers.
Both versions assist with strengthening your resume and interview skills and culminates with a guaranteed interview with any of the Skills Builder participating employers when you successfully complete the full course.
Our next in-person cohort meets October 9, 16, 23 & 30 from 9:00 AM–12:30 PM at the Virginia Career Works - Piedmont Region Charlottesville Center. Participants must attend all four classes to receive the guaranteed interview.
