Nourish Up pantries, warehouse, and administrative office will be closed for the Labor Day holiday, September 5-7. There will be no grocery delivery on Saturday and no meal delivery on Monday.

There are many ways to help nourish our neighbors with food and compassion. This month, we’re highlighting three ways you can take action right here in our community:

🚗 VOLUNTEER — Give your time in a meaningful way! With a variety of opportunities to get involved, there’s a place for you at Nourish Up. We currently have an immediate need for Grocery Home Delivery Drivers and Meals on Wheels Delivery Drivers.

🫐 DONATE — Your generosity helps put nutritious food into the homes and on the tables of our neighbors through our network of food pantries and Meals on Wheels program.

📣 ADVOCATE — Use your voice to help raise awareness about hunger in our community. Share Nourish Up’s work and impact with your friends, family and networks, and encourage others to take action.

What a way to celebrate 15 years of Tour de Turns! 🚴💙

On Saturday, 230 riders and walkers came together for the 15th Annual Tour de Turns, raising more than $100,000 to help turn the corner on local hunger!

We were also thrilled to have Molly Wilmer-Barker, our 2026 Tour de Turns SPOKESperson, riding alongside us and helping make this milestone year even more memorable.

With perfect temperatures, incredible volunteers, generous sponsors and plenty of energy along the routes, it was a day that reminded us just how much can happen when our community comes together.

From the Providence High School Marching Band Percussion Line and Elevation Church S***k Zone to surprise appearances from Hugo and the Charlotte Honey Bees, there was plenty to keep participants moving and cheering all morning. And after crossing the finish line, the celebration continued at Open Tap!

Congratulations to Cherril Tanoue, our Top Individual Fundraiser, who raised more than $1,200 and earned a two-night stay at Hotel Domestique! 👏

To every participant, volunteer, fan, neighbor, water stop host, fundraiser, donor, partner, vendor, staff and Board member who helped make this year's Tour de Turns possible: thank you.

Together, we’re proving that Charlotte accepts no excuses for our neighbors going hungry.

🌤️ Now THIS is cycling weather!

After weeks of summer heat, our friends at WCNC Charlotte are showing us a much cooler start for tomorrow’s Tour de Turns, with temperatures around 71° at 7 a.m. and only reaching the low 80s by noon. 🙌

We couldn’t have asked for a better forecast for the 15th Annual Tour de Turns!
