We have been home and host to the leaders of the 20th century. More than a century of history and hospitality is behind everything we do. Built in 1915 and tripled by its most famous owner James Buchanan Duke, The Duke Mansion has been home and host to leaders of the 20th century. Duke’s most lasting legacies, including Duke University, Duke Energy and the Duke Endowment, took shape at the home. L

isted on the National Register of Historic Places, The Mansion is now operated as a nonprofit Historic Inn and Meeting Place, with all proceeds being used to preserve and protect this community treasure.

This June, we're hosting three different opportunities for you to enjoy Cocktails in the Garden. And trust us, summer evenings at Duke Mansion are hard to beat. 🌿🍸

Join us for a relaxed evening of cocktails, conversation, and strolling through the gardens as everything comes into full bloom. Guests can enjoy drinks from the bar, light bites available for purchase, and a complimentary history tour to round out the evening.

A suggested donation of $10 helps support Duke Mansion, and Preservation Society and Colonnade members attend as our guests.

Our Mother’s Day Tea was a beautiful way to celebrate the women who mean so much.

Guests gathered on the lawn to enjoy a relaxed afternoon filled with sweet and savory bites, tea service, and time spent together in a setting that made the day feel a little more special. It was a joy to see so many families creating memories and celebrating Mom in such a thoughtful way.
