*Structure Fire*

While you were sleeping….

01:33 Cooks, Long Creek, Mount Holly, and Lucia Riverbend dispatched for a structure fire.

Cooks E1 arrived first due to find heavy fire showing on the Charlie. E1 dropped LDH at the end of the driveway for the next in unit to complete the lay.

E1 crew pulled an attack line and went to work. Long Creek arrived on scene and completed the lay to the hydrant with the help on Mount Holly.

Long Creek assigned a second line to the Charlie and Mount Holly provided the primary that proved negative.

Command requested E33, L33, and B6 from Charlotte to respond.

Charlotte L33 went top side and completed the vent. Fire was brought under control and all units returned to service after approximately 3 hours.

Crews back on scene in the 5800 Blk of Mt Holly Huntersville Rd. working with the Mecklenburg County Fire Marahals office to get resources to bring this incident under control.

*Outside Fire*

Last night E1 responded to an outside fire in the 5800 Blk of Mt Holly Huntersville Rd. E1 arrived on scene to find a big mulch pile on fire and smoldering.

Tankers and a dozer from NC Forestry was requested by command. Crews operated on scene for approximately 5 hours before returning to service around 04:00.

Thanks to all the neighboring departments for everything to help bring this incident under control.

Cooks on scene of a fire in a compactor last night. Fire was brought under control quickly, and all units returned to service.

Yesterday Cooks was dispatched for a structure fire on Kennewick Rd. Cooks E1 arrived first due and reported a working fire. E1 crew took suppression and went to work.
