Service is more than a duty—it's a way of life. Through every challenge, victory, and sacrifice, I’ve learned the true meaning of honor, loyalty, and resilience. Proud to have served, and grateful for the lessons that will guide me in the next chapter. The uniform may come off, but the spirit of a soldier lives on. Always ready, always strong. 🇺🇸 .

From the battlefield to the home front, the mission continues. The experiences, the bonds, and the lessons learned in service to our nation will forever be a part of me. As I transition into the next chapter, I carry the strength, discipline, and resilience that the military has instilled in me.

Courage isn’t the absence of fear; it’s the decision to step forward despite it.
Every day, these Soldiers remind me what it means to serve with honor, stand with discipline, and fight with unwavering resolve.
Our nation’s strength lives in the hearts of those who refuse to back down.

As a Lieutenant General, I had the privilege of visiting our 1st Infantry Division Forward Soldiers stationed in Poznan, Poland. During this visit, Command Sergeant Major Raymond Harris and I engaged directly with our troops, sharing meals with junior Soldiers and Non-Commissioned Officers. We also conducted a leader professional development session and received comprehensive briefings from our dedicated staff. Yesterday marked a significant milestone as the 1st Infantry Division Forward assumed the Atlantic Resolve mission from the 1st Cavalry Division during a Transfer of Authority ceremony. Our Soldiers are eager to enhance readiness, interoperability, and trust with our NATO Allies and partners through rigorous and realistic training environments. The commitment and enthusiasm displayed by our troops underscore the enduring spirit of the Big Red One.

True enjoyment comes from the synergy of a stimulated mind and an active body. Exercise is one of the most powerful yet often overlooked antidepressants. It invigorates not just the body, but also refreshes the mind. Although I despised every moment of training, I kept reminding myself, "Don't quit." We are creatures of habit, and excellence isn't a singular act but something we cultivate through repetition. The body is capable of extraordinary things, but it first requires the mind to believe in that potential. The discipline to persevere in both mental and physical efforts is what truly leads to fulfillment and achievement.

To my comrades in arms: Thank you for your unwavering loyalty, your brotherhood, and your belief in our mission. To my family and friends: Your support has been my bedrock, and now more than ever, I look forward to spending more time with you, sharing stories, and creating new memories.
Service never truly ends; it just takes on new forms. I am ready for what comes next, knowing that the lessons of the past will light the path forward.
Onward, always. 🇺🇸
