Americans for Congressional Term Limits Fighting for democratic reform Today, the Federal government suffers from unprecedented gridlock and an inability to solve problems.

With trillions of dollars in debt, billions of dollars in wasteful spending, government shutdowns, and no solutions to some of our nation’s biggest problems, we have to act now to restore our government. Term limits will help provide better representation, decrease corruption, weaken special interests, lessen waste, increase focus, spur on new ideas, cultivate civility, attract experience, and ult

imately transform our democracy. The chances of the United States Congress taking action to limit its own power and control are slim, but our nation’s founders wisely gave us another option. States can make an application to Congress for the calling of a Convention of the states to propose an amendment to the Constitution. This has never been done before in history, but the time is now. ACTL is hard at work in all 50 states organizing the movement that will be necessary to push this kind of legislation in 50 different legislatures across the country. We are at a pivotal crossroads and need your help. We need more supporters, more volunteers, and more committed citizens who are willing to take a stand and speak out.
