Moen has a “successful history in both business and law . . . She has been recognized as a Rising Star by peer reviewed Super Lawyers. She was also recognized by the North Carolina Pro Bono Honors Society for providing 50 hours of pro bono legal representation in 2018 along with her paid workload.”

“Efficient courts and judges are critical to a healthy community and Moen has demonstrated her capability to handle workloads.”

Voters have difficult choices in Superior and District Court primaries, including a race that’s generating unusual attention.

It seems like yesterday that Emma and I traveled from Arizona to DC to attend Obama’s inauguration. Over the years, she has talked about that experience and how it has influenced her interest in politics. Fast forward to now when she is helping on this campaign as an 18 year old. I’m so proud of her!

Early voting is underway and it is always exciting to meet first time voters. This week my daughter, Emma, voted for the first time! If you will be 18 by November, you can vote in the Primary. Several races are determined by the Primary, including this race for District Court.
