More than 400 clerks across North Carolina are gathered for a week of professional development, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing, while celebrating the accomplishments, dedication, and service of those who serve our courts.

The Pass the Torch Leadership Award recognizes leaders in the Clerk of Superior Court’s Office who have made significant contributions to advancing court excellence.

This quarter, we are proud to recognize Erin Stack, Assistant Clerk of the Digital Archives Division!

Erin oversees the quality assurance of criminal documents as well as the management and preservation of archived court records, and consistently brings diligence, precision, and a solution-focused mindset to her work.

Known as our office tech guru, she is always willing to share her knowledge and find effective solutions using technology to streamline processes throughout the office. Her dedication to innovation and commitment to advancing court excellence have made her an invaluable resource within our office. Erin was the 2024 recipient of the Most Valuable Clerk (MVC) Award for Innovation, recognizing her creativity and commitment to improving the way we work.

Erin undoubtedly exemplifies the leadership and service this award celebrates.

The Mecklenburg County Clerk of Superior Court’s Office is proud to announce the promotion of Keeley Appiah to Assistant Clerk of the Judicial Administration Division.

Keeley joined the Clerk’s Office in June 2014 and has served as an exemplary Deputy Clerk in the Criminal Division, providing administrative and courtroom processing support. Keeley has demonstrated a willingness to invest in others, serving as a mentor and trainer to new employees and helping them develop the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed.
