Robinson Volunteer Fire & Rescue Robinson provides fire, EMS, and rescue services to a section of
east Mecklenburg county.

Serving Eastern Mecklenburg County, NC since 1953 we are a small department compromised of 30 members. We respond to an average of 1,000 calls per year that include a multitude of events.

Today 05/04/2026 we send home Ardie Banker Jr. He had served on Robinson board as our board president, bringing numerous changes to Robinson. Robinson greatly appreciates his time on the board. He passed away on April 28, 2026 and today we celebrated his life along with his family. Once again we send our condolences to the Banker family.

Robinson Engine 2 was dispatched to the 5000 block of Camp Stewart Rd at 1715 for a Structure Fire.

Robinson Engine 2 arrived on scene to heavy smoke and fire showing from the attic/ roof. Robinson Engine 2 called working fire, command and started fire attack.

Robinson E2 got dispatched to a traffic accident incident, Robinson E2 arrived on scene to find a motor vehicle vs home Robinson crew assumed command and started to investigate the scene, on Scene Robinson E2 crew shut off utilities and staged until PNG and Duke energy arrived, once the scene was secured Robinson crew cleared the area and returned back in service.

Robinson E-1 and Rescue-8 got dispatched to a traffic accident on I-485. Upon Robinsons arrival on scene they found a one car vs a mobile home in transit incident. Robinson E-1 established command. Robinsons crew assessed the incident and found one patient that was pinned inside the vehicle. Robinson and Harrisburg crews successfully extricated the patient and transferred patient into Medics care.
