Hot? Yep. Humid? Yep. Fun? Heck yeah!

The Mighty Knight Marching Band finally made its 2026 debut Friday at the football game – including a piece of our show, “Crowned in Light.”

We’re back on Saturday to host the second annual CMS Marching Band Celebration at Ardrey Kell Stadium. Come watch as AK and 10 other CMS bands strut their stuff on the field. Plus, there will be a special appearance by UNC Charlotte’s .

We 💜 all our Mighty Knight marching band members – past, present, and future. And for the first time, we’re saluting our seniors with special banners we will hang in the football stadium. We’ll also honor them on Senior Night during halftime of the Sept. 18 home game. Come out to celebrate the Mighty Knight Band this Friday at our next home game! Go Knights!

The stormy weather washed out opening night, but the Mighty Knight Band kept busy. Music run-throughs. Chilling. Dabbing. Dancing. Making videos. Taking photos. Getting silly.
