Meet Kate, the Siberian Husky who's ready to run straight into your heart! 🐾

This gorgeous girl has energy for days and would make the perfect running buddy. Fair warning: she's FAST. Kate loves chew bones, splashing in water and shows off when you tell her a few commands like sit. She's great at entertaining herself, but has shown positive interactions with other female dogs.

If you're looking for an active companion who can keep up with your lifestyle, Kate might just be your perfect match. Ready to let this husky steal your heart? Visit Animal Care & Control's Byrum Drive shelter to meet Kate. If you want to learn more before you visit, go to cltgov.me/adoptapet and type in A1269795.

Hear from Takesha, the City of Charlotte Housing & Neighborhood Services department and Habitat's former Director of Land Acquisition and Development, Jennifer Morell, about what homeownership opportunities like this mean for our community and how the city's Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) plays a role.
