I have been working as a certified English Teacher for the past 10 years, and a Professional Tutor for the past 7 years. My teaching experience includes teaching all aspects of English and Writing to grades 8-11. My tutoring experience includes all aspects of English and Writing, with a specialization in standardized testing -- ACT, SAT, PLAN (now PSAT), and EXPLORE (now INSPIRE). Through teaching and tutoring, I have developed tips and methods that can assist students (and teachers) in improving scores on any of the standardized tests. My methods are quicker, easier, and probably more entertaining than any I have seen. My average tutoring student increased their ACT score almost 6 points after a three month session. I now have partnered with another Math and Science professional, Michael Micheletti, who also specializes in training and tutoring for ACT, SAT, and standardized tests. Michael has 5 years of experience tutoring, combined with 3 years of experience in college admissions, testing, and administration. Together, we have combined to form a new company called Simplified Test Prep. We offer better ways for students to improve their scores. Along with my teaching and tutoring experience, I also have 14+ years of experience in every aspect of Human Resources and Staffing. I worked with some of the largest companies in the world -- General Electric and Kelly International. That experience helps me to be a better speaker, communicator, and consultant.
