On August 20, Changed Choices and the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction invite you to experience a powerful Re-Entry Simulation designed to help participants better understand the emotional, logistical, and systemic barriers formerly incarcerated women face every day.

At 8:00am this past Saturday morning, Renee walked out of incarceration and into her new life.

There were balloons, flowers, tears, hugs, prayer, and so much joy as the Changed Choices community gathered to welcome her home. Staff, volunteers, mentors, board members, and her children stood waiting to remind her of something powerful: she is loved, supported, and not alone.

Renee was surrounded by people who chose to say “yes.”
Yes, your life has purpose.
Yes, you are worth believing in.
Yes, we will walk with you.

Thank you for being part of a community that believes in second chances. Please continue to pray for Renee as she begins this new chapter of freedom and transition.
